New Vision’s Strategic Plan for 2021–2030 outlines our long-term priorities and measurable goals to expand services, enhance support systems, and reach more individuals and families in need. This plan reflects our mission to empower independence and enrich community wellbeing.

We will double the number of people served.
  • FY21 will be the benchmark for direct and support services.
  • Expand services to include new and/or updated programs.

  • Increase advocacy with elected officials.
  • Increase community education to reduce fear, pity, discomfort, and stigma about blindness.
  • Brand and market the Axy Awards to be a coveted prize in the community.
Our industries program will increase agency revenues and employ VIPs.

Research and develop opportunities such as:

  • White Cane Coffee

Research and join B/VI industries groups, such as NIB.

We will establish New Vision as an expert in accessibility.
  • Develop and host annual accessibility workshop/forum.
  • Develop consultation topics and programs.
  • Produce topic-specific marketing materials, such as literature and videos, and develop plan to distribute.
