Our Teen Program recently partnered with our Support Services department to bring a creative and engaging mosaic art project to our Support Services clients. As part of a valuable job training exercise, our teens carefully assembled personalized art kits for our seniors, helping them build important workplace and teamwork skills while giving back to the community.
Over the course of two fun-filled sessions, clients had the opportunity to explore their creativity by designing and gluing down colorful mosaic tiles on the first day, then returning the next day to grout and complete their beautiful masterpieces. The project not only encouraged artistic expression, but also fostered connection, collaboration, and a sense of accomplishment for everyone involved.
It was a rewarding and enjoyable experience for both our teens and clients, and we loved seeing the creativity and smiles that came from this special intergenerational activity!
