This past Tuesday, New Vision for Independence proudly hosted an Assistive Technology Expo at the Leesburg Library — and what an incredible event it was!

Attendees had the opportunity to explore innovative assistive technology designed to empower individuals who are blind or visually impaired to live, work, and thrive with confidence. From hands-on demonstrations to meaningful conversations, the event highlighted how technology can increase independence, accessibility, and quality of life.
We were thrilled to partner with The Magnification Co. and showcase a variety of tools including screen readers, magnification products, low vision aids, and emerging assistive technologies for daily living, employment, and education.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who attended, supported, volunteered, and helped make this event such a success. Seeing our community come together to learn, connect, and explore new possibilities was truly inspiring.
And the excitement continues!
